Scott the operator and Marcia are very outgoing and go out of their way to help you, with anything you need. The motel is truly a gem! It is like staying at a little resort with its own private lake. Canoes are also available for the guests of the motel. Go in for a swim in the crisp clear clean lake. Or have lunch at one of the picnic tables. Great for relaxing, reading or listening to tunes on your walkman! A quick walk down to the motel's beach, and you can sit on the dock or in one of the wooden chairs. So one can sit on the porch and read a good book. Each unit has a comfortable wooden chair outside it. But you did not come to the Adirondacks to watch television! The grounds of the motel are very beautiful. With a window just outside the bathroom and one in the front of the room. But everything is clean neat and functions well. The rooms are charming with knotty pine walls cute lamps, with other nice touches. One of the units has two beds and is larger then the other 5. A fantastic deal, for all you get! The Motel has 6 rooms. The price is right ! Only $65.00 a night. There are 4 cottages one can rent for a week at a time or longer. The son of the original owners is now running the motel. That is the only thing, that kept me from posting a review. So you know that I have LOVED the place all these years! Kind of did not want to let the "secret" out. I have been coming back EVERY summer since then for 13 years. I arrived to find a charming yellow 6 unit rustic wooden motel! The operators of the motel greeted me warmly and chatted with me before they showed me the rooms they had available. I drove for about 5 minutes and saw a nice old style sign on the right hand side of the road.The Neon was on indicating "Vacancy" I turned left and drove down a long twisty drive way. The lady said "Point Breeze is the ONLY motel on the lake" "The people that run it are very friendly" She said it was just a few miles from the downtown area. I went to Indian Lake and asked at the Chamber Of Commerce, if they could recommend a good Motel to stay at.
